Wizards of
the Coast (WotC) is the biggest roleplaying game company around.
They make Dungeons & Dragons. They are also responsible for making
the core rule mechanics of the latest D&D game “open content,”
which means that, sort of like the Windows operating system, other
companies can use the mechanics without paying for it. (Some call this
move the “d20 revolution.”) The Open Game License (OGL) that came about
because of this maneuver is a good part of the reason why I have a job
now. So I like WotC. |
 |
Hasbro is WotC’s
parent company. |
 |
White Wolf Publishing
has been around for a long time, and publishes hobby games (primarily
roleplaying games) almost exclusively. That’s impressive. They have
numerous imprints, including Sword & Sorcery Studios and ArtHaus
Games, the latter of which is responsible for the Warcraft RPG. Most of
my work comes through White Wolf. Good people there. |
 |
Blizzard Entertainment
makes the Warcraft computer games. They created the ulta-cool Warcraft
setting, which allows the Warcraft RPG to exist. Blizzard is also full
of great people. |
 |
Paizo Publishing is
responsible for Dungeon and Dragon magazine. I’ve been published in
Dungeon. |
 |
Privateer Press
is my newest client, and I'm excited about
working with them. They produce excellent games and interesting
settings, like WARMACHINE,
Hordes, and
the Iron Kingdoms.
And the art is always amazing. |
 |

Crawl Classics series of fantasy adventures, to which I contributed. |
 |
Wicked
Fantasy Factory
is a brand new company with the ultra cool distinction of having me as
its editor-in-chief! The company publishes WICKED SICK adventures, with
a lot of gratuitous violence and sexy women. Understandably, the
adventure are a lot of fun to work on! |

|
Zeitgeist Games
makes Dave Arneson’s Blackmoor. They are based down in Florida, and the
owners, Dave Arneson and Dustin Clingman, are teachers at Full Sail, as
I used to be. |

|

|
Bastion Press
publishes a number of roleplaying game supplements for use with the d20
system. |

Lord and has his own roleplaying game system, Lejendary Adventures,
that Troll Lord publishes. |

|
Dark Skull Studios is a
new game company, and I'm excited to be working with them. They're
flagship product is New Gods of Mankind, in which you play a god.

publication is the result of a partnership between Goodman Games and
Malladin’s Gate. |

settings. |
